Prairie Highlands is already a great course to play, but throughout 2020, we will be working hard to make it even better. The new ownership team at GreatLIFE is 100% dedicated to returning Prairie Highlands to its original vision as an award-winning golf course.
We wanted to share some of our vision and plans for how we plan to improve the golf experience at Prairie Highlands:
Highlights of the 2020 Plan
THE BUNKERS YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!
Complete sand bunker renovation, rebuilding 44 bunkers and removing 11. They will be filled with white sand from Arkansas, and will be shaped for better visibility and aesthetics.
better billy bunker improvements
Better Billy Bunker liners will help with drainage and sand retention. Over 60% reduction in sand, easing maintenance demands and increasing drainage.
Other Improvements
We will be making minor fairway and grass improvements and minor drainage improvements.
We will also repair the lake overflow and cart path near the #7 tee.
